The business operations of Third Ecology are conducted based on the same ethos as that of our projects.

We strive to conduct our business as a model of sustainability in our field by:

  • operating as a 'carbon positive' business
  • being a WasteWise accredited business
  • using 100% post-consumer waste recycled and FSC paper for all A4 and A3 office paper
  • using 100% post-consumer waste recycled stock and soy-based inks for all stationery printing
  • purchasing Greenpower (Electricity and Gas) for all our office energy needs
  • implementing policies to ensure energy and water efficient equipment is purchased or leased
  • using a 'Bokashi' composting system for all organic vegetable waste
  • recycling all office waste paper, plastics, metals and polystyrene
  • assisting our staff and their households to become 'carbon neutral'
